How to set up your computer’s wallpaper to the photo of your choice under Windows XP

First of all,

We’ll assume the photo you want is on a CD. If you know where the photo you want is and it is not on a CD, you’ll be able to figure out easily how to adapt this procedure to YOUR computer.





Step 1 – After you put the CD in the computer, you may see this screen.





Click on Open Folder to View files and OKAY





Next you should see the list of files on the CD including the photo you want. GKids.BMP

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

Drag the file you want to your My Documents folder on your desktop



(Here is where you may already have the photo you want in the My Pictures folder contained in the My Documents folder – in which case you can ignore the above)



Now Left click on any blank portion of your desktop (where there is not on icon)

and you should see this box.



Click on the Desktop tab

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

now you can change the photo on your desktop. Click on the Browse button



 

 

 

 

Just click on the My Documents icon and you should soon see the list which now includes your photo









 

 

 

 

Click on the photo



and





and the Open button

 

 











 

 

click the Apply button and then
Okay button

YOU’RE DONE!
