IT’S A WRAP!
Temple Beth Torah’s 7th Annual Ventura County Jewish Film Festival was a smashing success. With the best reviews ever of all the films screened.
The film festival would not have been possible without the wonderful support of Temple Beth Torah and its Board of Directors, under the leadership of President Russ Charvonia. Also, the individual film sponsors, Paula Reach, Barbara Meister, Russ and Linda Charvonia, the Affordable Living Choices Trust, the Ventura County Jewish Family Service, the Jewish Federation of Ventura County, and the Ventura County Jewish Film Festival Committee, made it possible to bring the best Jewish themed films from around the world to Ventura County. Thank you all.
Also, thank you to our audiences for making this year’s film festival the most attended in our short history. Finally, thank you to the members of this year’s film festival committee, Martha Jaffe, David Minkin, Paula Reach, Marlene Reinhart, Barbara Singer, Bobbi Swerdlin, Ron Swerdlin and Marsha Weber, for your time and hard work to make this year’s film festival our most successful ever. CHINESE FOOD AND A MOVIE 2
Last year’s first “Chinese Food and a Movie” on Christmas Day was such a success, that we are bringing it back again this year. However, because December 25th comes out on a Saturday, we will begin the program in the evening with Havdalah, followed by Chinese food for dinner, and concluding with an outstanding film. Watch for more details in the coming months.
