Depart LAX on an overnight flight to London, then to Dublin.

June 26, Saturday

DUBLIN
Arrive Dublin, Republic of Ireland; drive to the Mespil Hotel and the Holiday Inn Dublin City Centre.

The capital city of the Republic of Ireland, Dublin has one of the loveliest settings in Europe. The famous Liffey River flows through the center, crossed by many picturesque bridges. Elegant Georgian squares, fine parks and lively "singing pubs" combine to form a friendly & compact whole.

DUBLIN

June 28, Monday

DUBLIN
In the morning, the chorus will be able to further explore Dublin. A rehearsal will take place at noon, followed by a concert in the Christ Church Cathedral, as part of the lunchtime concert series. For the music that the chorus will sing, click Here. [Updated]

In the afternoon, the chorus will embark on a guided sightseeing tour, during which the chorus will see Dublin Castle, Leinster House, St. Patrick's Cathedral & Trinity College.

June 29, Tuesday

DUBLIN/BELFAST
In the morning, we will board our coaches for a scenic drive to Belfast (about 3 hours). We will stop to stretch our legs and to eat lunch in one of the many towns on the way. After we check into our hotel, we will have free time to do some exploring.

Belfast, capital of Northern Ireland since 1920, is also an important port and industrial city. It is beautifully situated on Belfast Lough, at the mouth of the River Lagan. The Belfast shipyards are among the largest in Europe. The city has numerous fine buildings and about 170 churches.

We stay at the Europa Hotel.

June 30, Wednesday

BELFAST
In the morning, we will take a guided sightseeing tour of the city of Belfast. In the evening, the chorus will have a rehearsal and a concert in the St. Peter's Church. For the music that the chorus will sing, click Here.

July 1, Thursday

BELFAST/GLASGOW
In the morning, we will board our coaches and depart Belfast for Larne (about 1 hour). At Larne we will catch the ferry that will take us to Cairnryan, Scotland. From Cairnryan, we will travel to Glasgow. We stay at the Milton Hotel; click Here or Here.


Glasgow is Scotland's largest city, and in many ways, its most exciting. Having been named a European City of Culture, it supports an internationally famous Symphony Orchestra, Ballet and Opera Companies, as well as a Music Conservatory and many theatres and art galleries.

July 2, Friday

GLASGOW
In the morning, the chorus will depart for a full day excursion to Ayr and the Ayrshire countryside.

This area of the Southern Uplands is famous for its associations with two Scottish writers, Sir Walter Scott and the Scottish poet Robbie Burns. The cottage in which Burns was born can be seen in Alloway, 2 miles south of Ayr, and there is a statue of the poet in front of Ayr rail station.

GLASGOW
In the morning, the chorus will depart by coach for a guided sightseeing tour of Glasgow. The chorus will have a concert in the evening in Saint Mungo's Church, Townhead. For the music that the chorus will sing, click Here.

GLASGOW
In the morning, the chorus will depart for a full day excursion of Glencoe and Loch Lomond.

GLASGOW

Edinburgh is one of the world's most attractive capitals. The dramatic grandeur of its setting, its wealth of noble architecture and a long and stirring history combine to make an appropriate introduction to the romance of Scotland.

GLASGOW/MALVERN
In the morning, the chorus will board their coaches and depart for Malvern, near Worcester, arriving in the afternoon. We stay at The Abbey Hotel and at The Foley Arms.

July 7, Tuesday

MALVERN
In the morning, the chorus will have independent time to visit the Malvern area. After an afternoon rehearsal, they will perform with members of the English Symphony Orchestra in Malvern Priory. For the music that the chorus will sing, click Here. [Updated]

In the morning, the chorus will board their coaches and depart for London, arriving in the afternoon. We stay at Novotel London Euston Hotel.

July 9, Friday

LONDON

London's sheer size and variety make it almost impossible to encompass. One of the world's greatest capital cities, it offers the visitor an unbelievable wealth of cultural, historical and architectural delights.

In the morning, there will be a guided sightseeing coach tour of London, which will include the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus, and Buckingham Palace. [Updated]

July 10, Saturday

LONDON
The chorus will have a full day excursion to Windsor Castle, including changing of the guard.
