BUDAPEST
Arrive Budapest, Hungary; drive to the Hotel Mercure Buda. Remainder of day is free to tour Budapest.
June 30, Saturday
BUDAPEST
Morning guided sightseeing tour of Budapest including the House of Parliament, the Royal Castle and the Citadel. The tour concludes in the Castle District at St. Matthew's Church where the group will have free time to look around and obtain lunch before returning to the hotel. Afternoon is free for independent activities.

July 1, Sunday
BUDAPEST
Provide the music at the noon mass at Matthias Church in Budapest followed by a short "informal" concert in the Church Nave. Afternoon free for independent activities. Evening cruise on the Danube River to enjoy the city in it's night time illumination.

July 2, Monday
BUDAPEST/VIENNA
Morning drive from Budapest to Vienna, Austria.
Afternoon guided sightseeing tour of Vienna including a tour through the Schönbrunn Palace and a visit to St. Stephens Cathedral. We stay at the Austria Trends Ananas Hotel. Dinner in one of the restaurants in Grinzing, on the outskirts of the city in the Vienna Hills, accompanied by music provided by local musicians. Dinner will be preceded by a wine tasting.

VIENNA
Free day for independent activities. Evening is reserved for a concert with the Wiener Volkalensemble in St. Canisius Church.

VIENNA/TÁBOR
Full day drive from Vienna to Tabor, Czech Repulic. En route there will be a visit to the little town of Ceský Krumlov. Ceský is a beautiful little town in the southwest part of the Czech Republic and is dominated by the Church of St. Vitus, constructed in 1439. As one writer says, it is "one of the most impressive experiences...to walk through the town with its little tortuous streets and alleys and particularly the square in the historical centre with its variety of buildings and architectural styles." We stay at the Hotel Palcát in Tábor.

July 5, Thursday
TÁBOR
Morning guided orientation sightseeing tour of the city followed by free time for the remainder of the day. Evening reserved for a concert to be performed by the choir with the Choir Hlahol Tábor in the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Christ.

TÁBOR/PRAGUE
A mid-morning departure from Tabor driving to Prague to arrive at the Hotel Alta: Click Here or Here for information on this hotel. Afternoon guided sightseeing tour of Prague to include a panoramic view of the city from the corner of Hradcanske Namesti (Castle Square), a visit to St. Vitus Church and a stroll across the famous Karl's Bridge. The tour concludes at the old Town Hall Square in the heart of the city.

PRAGUE
Morning free for independent activities. Afternoon concert in St. Nicholas Church, shared with the Prazsky Smiseny Sborenglish Choir. Following the concert there will be social activity together with the members of a Prague choir including having dinner together.

PRAGUE
Morning is reserved for the choir to attend a church service where it is anticipated the choir will provide the music for the service. Following the church service the bus will transport the group to the river dock for a two hour cruise on the Vltava (Moldau) River. Lunch will be served during the cruise, which concludes mid-afternoon. Remainder of the day is reserved for independent activities.

July 9, Monday
PRAGUE/LEIPZIG
Morning departure on a full day drive from Prague to Leipzig, Germany. En route there will be a rest stop in Dresden for lunch and to spend some time exploring the sites in the area of the Zwinger Palace, the Opera House and the Hofkirche. Of particular interest will be the war damage restoration work going on in that area of the city. Late afternoon arrival at the Hotel Mercure in Leipzig.

LEIPZIG
Morning guided sightseeing tour of Leipzig. The tour will include a visit to St. Thomas Church where Bach was organist, choirmaster and cantor. The chorus will sing an informal concert at this church. Afternoon free for independent activities.

July 11, Wednesday
LEIPZIG/BERLIN
Morning departure from Leipzig to Berlin. En route there will be a stop in Halle for a visit to the Handel Museum and time for lunch. Afternoon continue to Berlin by way of a stop in Wittenberg for a visit to the Castle Church (where Luther nailed his 95 theses) and the Reformation Museum, the most famous Reformation museum in the world, housed in a former monastery that became Luther's residence. Continue on to the
Best Western Hotel Steglitz International in Berlin.

BERLIN
Morning guided sightseeing tour of Berlin. Features of the tour include the Reichstadt, Brandenburg Gate, the cathedral, and the remnant of the Berlin Wall. Afternoon free for independent activity. The evening is reserved for a concert to be performed by the choir with the Lichterfelder Chorkreis in St. Matthaus Church in Berlin-Steglitz.

Full day free for independent activites. "Farewell Dinner" in a nice restaurant in downtown Berlin.
