GENEALOGY
At our February 28, 2009 meeting Jan Meisels Allen gave a very interesting presentation on Genealogy Research. Jan is a founding member of the Jewish Genealogical Society of the Conejo Valley and Ventura County JGSCV
Her presentation started off with how to begin your genealogy using her own family and research as examples of how to develop your family tree.
She related many of her problems that arose during her seach and related many anecdotes of her trials and tribulation and how friends and strangers always seem to step in and help with the road blocks.
