My Minnesota Cousins

I have many cousins in MInnesota. I've only met a few of them (when they flew out to California to visit me), but we exchange Christmas gifts and cards every year. Years ago there were only a few dogs and none of them competed in the ring. Now I have a lot of cousins and many other dogs come to visist and stay with them from time to time. The widely known Jake has been a regular visitor in recent years. It sure looks like they have a lot of fun.

Tibetan terriers and havanese came along in recent years. Someday I'd like to go to Minnesota and visit them all and spend some time at the lake. My first boy, Dylan, and his Mommy and Daddy went to Minnesota a year ago and got to meet most of them, but I was unable to get away at the time. The silkies moved away a few years ago, so I'll probably never get to meet them. When Dylan gets a little older, he can probably tell me about that trip and what my cousins were like.
Ivy (a tibetan) and her puppies (right) are on the wrapper of a pet blanket sold nationally and I'm pleased to have one of those blankets for my very own. She has also been hired for a new modelling job recently. The current generation of tibetans and havanese are shown here in their 2001Christmas photos. They are all champions and some of them have achieved great things in the show ring. Myles and Java participated in the 2002 Westminster Kennel club show in New York.
