Special Interest Groups (SIG's) are sponsored by CIPCUG and are taught by volunteer members from the club membership. There is no charge for members to attend the SIGS, just a willingness to learn and share. All SIGs are held at Ventura County Computers in Ventura unless otherwise noted. Directions to

Message from SIG Coordinator:
These SIGS are for the members benefit. The moderators are capable of doing presentations week after week, but that is not the purpose. There are two ongoing SIGs and one free week each month. The ongoing are: HTML and Linux. Yes, Linux. Recently, several members of the Channel Islands Linux Users Group joined CIPCUG. This is an enhancement to CIPCUG. We desperately need to have one more meeting, but we need to know what the club would like to have. We are searching for a topic such as digital imaging or some other topic; but we need someone to volunteer to moderate the meeting. Please let
Lois know what you would like. This would be a tremendous help.
If these SIGs are not benefitting you, are at a bad time and/or place, or you just want to gripe - let us know. Silence is the most deafening sound one can hear.

A while back, when attendance was low, Past President Andy Toth decided to start sending out reminders to those who signed up for the service. It has been a huge success and attendance has more than doubled.
